Interweaving vocal samples from GG May's video work throughout the album, she brings intimacies and emotions into the composition to deconstruct the default rhythm. Those voices fragmentarily speak about human connections, through which they bring you into her exploration.

Regarding the meaning of music, we always forget that " 'music is part of the society, ' just like the other parts, it will either transcend or lag behind the society. We can only try hard to understand the social affairs within the music practices, rather than imagining what music can represent." Despite GG May’s youth in this genre, the album still unfolds her self-reflexivity and uncertainty regarding her search for self. Her sensibility coexists with her boldness, which tries to blur the boundaries of binary opposition. Perhaps in this era, we need to immerse ourselves into the moment that we have the absolute right to our bodies, and so repetitively claim that we own their sovereignty.

GG May is a new electronic/experimental artist and producer out of Toronto, Canada.
